Greater resilience for mission-critical operations – a new connectivity solution for logistics, grocery retail, healthcare, manufacturing, security, critical infrastructure, and backup systems. 2CoreSIM combines two independent network profiles on a single SIM card, automatically switching between Telefónica Germany and Melita whenever coverage is unavailable or a technical network issue occurs. With this new solution, Telefónica Germany and Crout are targeting businesses whose digital applications and backup systems require reliable connectivity even during network disruptions, fluctuating coverage, or technical outages. The SIM card uses one profile connected to Telefónica Germany's extensive mobile network and a second profile that accesses the network and international roaming footprint of Maltese mobile operator Melita. This provides two fully independent network infrastructures - from the core network all the way to the radio access network.
